Has the oil been changed? I know that engine doesn't run good or at all when it's abused. Diesel engines need to be maintained and does it have air brakes? Heard California requires a special license for that

AWESOME Coach! Make sure the oil level is good, coolant, belt or belts. Check everything cause they will charge you for anything! Make sure the air filter is changed tires are less than 5 years old. Last Country Thunder was a rough experience!

So at what point do you actually drive it turning it off turning it on waiting on pressure on the display 😁😁😁 seeing on what pressure has to much or to little on the tires testing how bright one light is compared to the other head light is the horns to loud opps let check the air pressure on those is the lights on turning signal even or is one side dimer then other ok are we set now nope forgot the parking breaks are still on🤣🤣🤣

Two things on the Prevost that you might want to update. The Allison transmission will upshift and downshift on its own. There are situations were you might want to use the arrows however. When descending a steel mountain grade it can be manually downshifted to pick a safe gear to safely control the engine braking power. The 2 air gauges are primary and secondary just like on cars. The primary controls the rear and the secondary controls the front brakes in case of a leak in on system

I have one and with 11,000 miles best mileage 10 miles per gallon. Rear end drags when going in drive ways. If you buy one get your check book ready. No help for inferior suspension. Call me 509 429 0032.

Although I'm not CDL certified...having done the written testing but not the driving test for a part time job, I feel all Class A drivers should go get a CDL license on their unit. I have been a volunteer fireman for 34 years, we didn't have to get CDL but after learning the material...I feel it should be required too. Just an opinion.

You need to check that the low pressure alarm system works and time the air pressure build up from low alarm/ spring brake set up

On the transmission why did you not mention the mode position at all is it due to you don't feel that you understand what economy mode means please advise

It's interesting, MCI uses the same toggle switches and steering wheel on their 4500 series coaches.

Is it ok if the leveling system lifts one wheel off the ground in auto? If not how do you reprogram the leveling system to correct that?

This was very helpful Joe, thank you!! I have a Class C currently and first time I drove it out of the lot I was terrified! Its only 22 ft long but seemed like a monster vehicle. In a couple of years I want to buy a Class A, and now I'm terrified again of the size and all those controls on dashboard. This video was so helpful in understanding those mysterious switches and gauges. It will take some time to sink in, but I plan to watch your video over and over again till I get it down. Very good demo, many thanks!

There are several more steps to properly test an air brake system than just testing for air loss rate.

I was actually looking for an explanatory clip for a 2008 fleetwood expedition all over the you tube universe and I couldn't find nothing but dealers presenting their coaches .
